We adopted our daughter through embryo donation/adoption & we LOVE this book! So cute, ryhmes, & my daughter loves it. Such an awesome way to tell her her unique story through a book like this. Highly recommend!
Cute and a simple read.
This sweet embryo adoption story book is so easy to read to my little ones and makes it easier explaining embryo adoption since they are only 3, 1 and 1 (twins). We have several other EA books but this is my favorite!
Very disappointed in the story and the illustrations. Was so hopeful to have a way to explain embryo adoption with a book, but we will not read this book to our babies.
We are recently have been blessed with a pregnancy through embryo donation. We feel that it is important that our child will know his/or her story from the beginning. This book is a great way to explain embryo donation to our child. We look forward to using it. We also liked that there is a section in the back for " our story". We highly recommend this book!
What an ingenious way to explain adoption to kids--especially embryo adoption! I like how Williams put it into rhyme and also gave a couple of pages at the end to add the story of "your little Sweetie." I plan to give this to a couple who hope to adopt.
This is a great book for starting to teach kids about embryo donation. My four year old thinks it's sweet and requests it at least once a week. It's not long but it is a fun read. I have preferred books that use "donation" instead of "adoption" and this book does that.
